NeverWas

Will
Will has been gigging with various bands for more than 20 years, both as an instrumentalist and vocalist, and even once made it to the BBC stars’ Christmas party.
His natural exuberance on stage stems from his desire to give every member of his audience an experience to remember - in his own words, “If you ain’t having a great time, I’m not doing my job right!”
The end result is that by the end of the evening, everyone feels like they’re part of the band!

Lucy
Lucy started performing as a child in musical theatre, graduating from Mountview Academy at the age of 22. She worked professionally in musical shows for several years and recorded a cast album during that time.
She has sung with several bands over the years alongside her theatre performances and was lucky enough to teach music and dance for a living for many years (interrupted briefly with a stint as a Butlins Redcoat).
Lucy has joined the band recently. She is loving being part of NeverWas and says that partnering Will is an absolute pleasure!

Chris
Chris has been playing guitar for far too many years to admit to here, but in that time has played countless gigs in a wide variety of rock, pop, soul and blues bands. From weddings to corporate functions to motorcycle and blues festivals to gigs on cruise ships!
Chris is also a teacher and performer in the classical guitar, having graduated from Trinity College, London and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and can therefore add the slightly more soothing sounds of Spanish guitar to your event.

Jess
Jess was a founder member of Gary Numan's Tubeway Army, him being Gary's uncle.
Jess's long career has taken him from the heights of selling millions of records and playing at Wembley Stadium to the slightly more dubious gig of house band in a German brothel in the 60's! Not to mention the 100 Club, the Marquee, the Roxy, Park Lane Playboy Club and the Savoy Grill. In fact, really too many to mention - and we haven't even touched upon his many radio and TV appearances!

Barry
After being awarded a scholarship to study at Blackheath Conservatoire of Music, Barry went on to play in several bands supporting artists such as Geno Washington and the Ram Jam band, Doctor and the Medics, Mari Wilson and the Wilsations and the Wee Papa Girl Rappers.
He has over 20 years experience of playing rock, blues, soul, funk and ska.

Mick
Mick started playing bass in punk bands in the 1970s. He has since learned to play the bass properly and has played in a wide variety of pub and function bands, mainly around Surrey.
He likes, and will play, most kinds of music, but is happiest laying down the bass line to something that get's people up and dancing!
